Daniel Radcliffe has landed a new role! Daniel will star as Sebastian Coe in the sports drama, Gold.

Deadline is reporting, the script is “based on Pat Butcher’s book The Perfect Distance. Coe and Steve Ovett started racing against each other in 1972 and traded records for years. In Moscow in 1980, they each won the other’s specialty.”

Production is set to begin in April 2014. It will take place in the United Kingdom and Russia. This sounds like a great film for Daniel. Can’t wait to learn more about it!
