Memories Go On

The 2013 CMA Awards were held tonight, November 6, in Nashville and some of our favorite stars performed and presented at the country award show.

Taylor Swift took the stage with Vince Gill and Allison Krauss and performed an acoustic version of her single “Red”. I loved that Vince and Allison performed with her.

Hunter Hayes teamed with Jason Mraz for his new single, “Everybody’s Got Somebody. But Me” and presented Kacey Musgraves with the New Artist of the Year award.

Taylor also returned to the stage to accept the CMA Pinnacle Award. She was given the award by the singers she opened for at the beginning of her career, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Brad Paisley. You can watch her acceptance under the jump.

Carrie Underwood took the stage to perform a medley of her #1 hits featured on her most recent album, Blown Away. The pipes on this girl are amazing! Lastly, Lucy hale presented Song of the Year with Jake Owen at the country music show.
