Zendaya has landed herself a new role. The young actress is set to star in the new Disney Channel pilot Super Awesome Katy.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Super Awesome Katy centers on 16-year-old Katy Cooper (Zendaya), an outspoken and confident technology wiz and skilled black belt, who discovers that both her parents are spies who expect her to follow in their footsteps.”
Production on her pilot will begin in early 2014 and if the show is picked up it will air during the 2014-2015 season!
