New information has been released concerning Jake T. Austin’s hit and run that occurred earlier this week in Studio City. The incident involved three parked cars, a bottle of Ciroc being tossed out the window, and Jake leaving the scene of the crash.

According to TMZ, after the incident Jake’s “lawyer called cops at 4am and told them Jake was the owner of the car…”, but his lawyer did not mention if Jake was behind the wheel during the accident. Apparently Jake’s lawyer also said Jake left the scene due to an injury that needed immediate medical attention and that “…the victims will be fully compensated … so there’s really no need to prosecute.”

No reason has been given as to how his car hit three other cars or why a bottle of Ciroc was seen being tossed from the car. Jake, who is currently under investigation for a DUI earlier this year, denies he had been drinking that night. The legal drinking age in the United States is 21 and Jake will celebrate his 19th birthday next month.
