One Direction made a special video thanking their fans for helping their third album Midnight Memories go number 1 in so many countries. It was announced today the band had topped the UK Album charts with 237,000 copies sold.

One Direction’s new album is expected to take the top slot on the Billboard album chart, as well. It is tracking to sell between 550,000-600,00 copies.
