Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood have made Forbes’ 2013 “Top Earning Women In Music”. The list is compiled from income made from June of 2012 to June of 2013.

Carrie just made it under the jump at #9 making $31 million. The star had a huge year touring all over the United States and an the release of Blown Away.

Taylor came in at #3 making $55 million. Taylor released a little album called, RED, that helped with her placement and she kicked off her RED tour, too.

Forbes had time to ask 50 Cent who he thought would make the list next year and he responded with popstar, Miley Cyrus. 50 said, “What [people] see from Miley Cyrus, like with award shows and creating all the controversy, is because they felt like they already knew her and had expectations of her as an artist.

Just putting her in a box. But everything she did, they would have expected from Madonna right out of the gate”.
