One Direction performed their next single “Midnight Memories” on the season finale of The X Factor tonight, December 15. It is the third single off their third album of the same name.

Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson showed off a decidedly more rock side with this performance. They taped a performance of this song set to air during the finale of the United States X Factor in the next week.
