Not What You Think

Dove Cameron is the first star to be cast in Disney Channel’s newest original movie, Descendants. The new DCOM focuses on the children of iconic Disney villains.

“Cameron will play Mal, daughter of Maleficent, the evil witch from 1959′s Sleeping Beauty. She’s the ringleader of a group of teenage kids of famed Disney villains who wind up tangling with the good-hearted son of the King and Queen from Beauty and the Beast, among others.”

Production on the DCOM will begin this Spring. Kenny Ortega is set to direct the movie and it will be released on the network in the Spring of 2015.
