Jennette McCurdy covers the newest issue of NKD magazine. She opens up to the mag about Sam and Cat, her music, and her future career goals.

On being hesitant to do Sam and Cat: “I did not want to play Sam anymore – I was over it. I’m sarcastic and blunt enough in real life that I wanted to do something different”.

On stepping away from music: “I don’t want to take it too seriously though, because I feel like it’s really easy to cross the line of doing something fun in your bedroom to being stressed out about a career”.

She also reveals she’d like to try stand-up comedy this year and has started writing. And Jennette shares she is excited about the possibility of doing another season of her hit Nickelodeon show.
