Not What We Thought

Divergent is on track to make some good money at the box office its opening weekend. Early tracking has reported that film is on its way to make $50 million plus when it opens on March 21.

This news is good for Summit Entertainment and Lionsgate who are hoping to turn this film into a franchise series like box office hits, Twilight and The Hunger Games. Both of which were also distributed by Summit and Lionsgate.

This is also good news because the studio has already scheduled sequels in March of 2015 and 2016 for the series. If the movie opens with its projected number the sequels will definitely be a go.
