Zac Efron has landed himself a new film. The young star is set to produce and star in the film adaptation of John Grisham’s The Associate.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zac will play a “Yale Law School grad who is blackmailed by a group of criminals. He’s told he must take a job at the world’s largest law firm, where he’ll be spying on their work in a dispute between two powerful defense contractors worth billions.”

The film will be shopped to studios after a screenwriter has been booked for the film. Apparently, Zac’s production company Ninja’s Runnin Wild hopes to start filming later this year.
