Do It On My Own

Jennifer Lawrence may be getting her own Mystique film. X-Men:Days of Future Past producer Lauren Shuler Donner has revealed she is interested in making a solo film on the character.

Donner told press, “I love what Jen Lawrence has done with her, and I feel like because she is in such a crowded ensemble, there’s so much more opportunity if you were to follow her solo.”

As of right now, 20th Century FOX has plans to release Days of Future Past on May 23,  X-Men: Apocalypse on May 27, 2016, and another Wolverine movie on March 3, 2017. So the chance of them doing a solo film in the next year or two is small.

I really hope they don’t do a solo Mystique film. Don’t get me wrong, I love Jennifer, but I’m not really interested in learning more about Mystique. There are other characters in the X-Men universe I would rather learn more about like Gambit.
