James Maslow chatted with PEOPLE after his Dancing with the Stars performance last night, April 14. The star earned the first perfect score of the Season after dancing a Contemporary dance to “Let It Go” from Frozen.

In the interview, James talked about the lucky fan he hung out with over the weekend. The fan’s name is Hannah Wackernagle and Hannah originally asked James to her prom, but because of scheduling conflicts James could not attend.

However, James thought up another way to hang with Hannah. He invited Hannah and her family out to Los Angeles to spend the weekend with him. He and his DWTS partner, Peta Murgatroyd even took the family to Disneyland.

James told the magazine, “She’s [Hannah] been really composed … I think the only time I’ve gotten her to break down and laugh and giggle was when we started singing and dancing together.” The Big Time Rush stars goes on to say, “I tried to make it [her weekend] as awesome as possible, and how often to get that opportunity? To me, it was really a blessing to have her and her family come out.”

Well, she looked like she was having a blast having in the audience of DWTS last night!
