Elle Fanning is on the cover of FASHION Magazine. The Maleficent star graces the cover of the magazine’s Summer 2014 issue.

In the issue, Elle talks her new movie, Maleficent, her costar, Angelina Jolie, her dream leading man, teens in Hollywood, and so much more. Highlights can be found below.

On the leading man of her dreams: “That would be Ryan Gosling! He once gave me a hug. It was pretty intense because he’s dreamy. I have a Ryan Gosling colouring book so whenever I want, I can colour Ryan.”

On the way teens are treated in Hollywood: “That condescending thing gets me. The ‘you’re young now but you’ll know in a couple of years what life is about’ kind of thing. I don’t think in a couple of years I’m going to have this huge revelation.

I’m still going to be the same person. When you are an adult not everything changes. Teens are who they are. Trying to change us to be older before we should doesn’t make sense. I always want to have a free spirit—I don’t want to be strict with life.”
