Arcade Fire has released their new music video for “We Exist” today, May 16. The new video features Andrew Garfield dressed in drag as he imagines himself in a place where people will accept him for who he is.

Part of the video was filmed at the Coachella Music Festival this past April. He and his girlfriend, Emma Stone, were spotted at the festival by festival goers as Andrew was filming the music video.

This explains the drag photos we saw of him released that weekend and the short hair. Looks like he had fun.
