Emma Stone filmed new scenes for her new Woody Allen movie in Rhode Island this past Thursday, July 31. Emma was joined on set by her costar, Joaquin Phoenix.

The duo has been in Rhode Island since the beginning of July filming the movie. This is the second movie Emma has done that Woody Allen has directed, the first was Magic in the Moonlight with Colin Firth.

Does it creep anyone else out that Emma is playing Joaquin’s love interest? Where did this younger girls dating older men in movies trend even come from?! Can someone please explain this to me!
