Come Crumbling Down

Jake T. Austin apparently had a bit of a meltdown during the Teen Choice Awards last week. The young star was at the show to present one of the many surfboards and when he wasn’t on stage he was backstage trying to get into the Candie’s gifting lounge.

According to TMZ, “…he was turned away by a worker who didn’t recognize the “Fosters” actor. Multiple witnesses tell us … Jake pulled a full ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ … screaming at the employee, ‘I’m a presenter. Who the f**k are you?!'”

The site goes on to sat that “Austin got so heated, he picked up an empty shoe box and fired it at the female staffer’s chest. Jake eventually stormed off … only to return to the gifting suite an hour later with his mom by his side — and despite having parental supervision, he continued to talk more smack to the suite worker.”

Jake’s reps have yet to comment on the situation, but this wouldn’t be the first time Jake ran into some issues. Back in 2013 the young actor was arrested for a DUI.
