It Is Our Time

The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards were held tonight, August 24, in Los Angeles and some of our favorite stars performed, presented and won at tonight’s show.

Fifth Harmony kicked off the night, not on the actual show, but during the red carpet. The girls performed their new single, “BO$$” during the pre-show. They all looked gorgeous. I could have done without some of the looks, but other than that they look good.

Ariana Grande opened the show with her new single, “Break Free”. She also performed “Bang Bang” with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj! Taylor Swift performed her new single, “Shake It Off”. Not my favorite performance from her. What did you think?

Nina Dobrev joked with Julianne Hough in the audience and Ariana gave Miley Cyrus a kiss in the audience. Miley also chatted with Lucy Hale before the show, that video is below the jump!

Demi Lovato chatted with Taylor in the audience and Taylor also posed with Jennifer Lopez. 5 Seconds of Summer performed their hit “Amnesia”! Fifth Harmony also took home the award for Artist to Watch!

Miley Cyrus also took home the big award tonight, Video of the Year. However, Miley had her date, Jesse accept the award. Jesse is a homeless youth who Miley met in Los Angeles. Miley used her acceptance speech to raise awareness for homeless youth in Los Angeles.
