Justin Bieber was arrested last Friday, August 29, in Perth County, Ontario for assault and dangerous driving. He apparently crashed his ATV into a minivan driven by photographers.

According to TMZ, police say there was a physical altercation between Justin and a paparazzo. Justin’s lawyers say he and Selena Gomez (who he was snapped riding ATVs with on Friday) are cooperating with the investigation.

Justin’s arrest spurred a probation violation investigation by the Los Angeles County Probation Department. He is currently on 2 years probation stemming from his egging case earlier this summer.

Probation officers apparently have 30 days to inform the court of a violation and the court then decides if the probation will be revoked.
