Away From Here
Taylor Swift is on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine! A behind the scenes video from the shoot was released early last week, but now photos and the interview have been released.
In the article, Taylor talks not dating anyone since One Direction singer, Harry Styles, getting her friends to move to New York City, her own movie to NYC, album not being boy centric, her song “Bad Blood”, and so much more.
On moving to NYC: “‘I was intimidated by it for so long,’ But now that she’s here, she loves it. She can walk down the street to get dinner, or go furniture shopping with friends in Brooklyn. Even the paparazzi are better, she says. ‘They don’t provoke me, or ask weird questions. And a lot of them are long-lensing it – which, if you have to have paparazzi in your life, is such a better way.'”
On the album not being boy centric: “Different phases of your life have different levels of deep, traumatizing heartbreak. And in this period of my life, my heart was not irreparably broken. So it’s not as boy-centric of an album, because my life hasn’t been boycentric.”
On her song “Bad Blood”: “For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’
Then last year, the other star crossed a line. “She did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.’ And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”
You can read her full interview here. I wonder who the female is she is talking about in “Bad Blood”. Any ideas?
