Taylor Swift has been named New York City Go’s new global ambassador. The singer is featured on the city’s official guide website and in a new welcome video for the site.

The announcement was made today, October 27, while Taylor was promoting her new album, 1989 on Good Morning America. Taylor is currently a resident of NYC. She purchased a new place in the Big Apple earlier this year.
