Taylor Swift is the December covergirl for several Cosmopolitan magazines including the United Kingdom and Hungary. She speaks about her holiday plans, feminism, and more.

On her friends wanting to set her up: “They just don’t get it. I’ve learned that just because someone is cute and wants to date you, that’s not a reason to sacrifice your independence and allow everyone to say whatever they want about you. I’m not doing that anymore.”

On moving to New York City: “…is the best thing I’ve ever done. I never thought I’d be able to survive that city. It’s so big and bright,” she said. “Then I woke up one day about a year ago and it was all I could think about. I needed a new challenge and there’s no bigger challenge than uprooting your life, finding new places to hang out, new friendship circles.”
