Hunter Hayes was a guest on the The Countdown To The CMA Awards With Robin Roberts last night, November 3. Hunter was on the show to help promote the upcoming CMA Awards, which will take place on November 5.

During his appearance, Hunter performed a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues”. Hunter performed this cover to signify the song that changed country music for him.

I like Hunter’s cover, but the original is just pure perfection!
