Prom Song (Gone Wrong)

Maia Mitchell is on the cover of Seventeen Magazine’s special Prom issue. The issue features looks for the upcoming 2015 prom season.

Maia also sat down with the magazine to talk about her own promo, social media and more. Highlights from her interview can be found below.

On what she wanted to wear to prom: I wanted to wear a salmon-pink halter dress with a low back. My hair would be in a loose, messy, curly updo so that you could see my shoulders. My friends and I decided that we would all go together, makeup-free, and wear these stunning dresses.”

On social media: “I get on social media sometimes. I think it’s good to find a balance and to be able to put your phone down. It was really important for me to do that while I was filming [Teen Beach Movie 2]. I was in a foreign place and having a really good time. It was good for me to be able to step back and enjoy the experiences that I was having in the moment without feeling the need to share it with the entire world on social media.”
