Cody Simpson Releases New Song and Miley Cyrus’ Cover Art For The Track

Cody Simpson has released a new tune called “Flower” for our listening pleasure. The young singer has been hard at work on his latest album for the past few months and has finally released a piece of music from it.

Cody, who recently departed with Atlantic Records, spoke to Rolling Stone about the cover art for his new track and how it was done by his friend and fellow musician, Miley Cyrus. He states, “I told her where I was headed, and she was stoked. I really admire how she’s really unorthodox and fun.”

Miley went onto say, “I shot it on some Polaroids, and then instead of complicating things, I said f*** it, I’m just going to shoot this sh** on an iPhone. I just wanted something where people didn’t have a stereotypical idea of what he was and could just look at the song for what it is, because it’s a f***ing epic song.

Miley also took a moment to chat about her friend stating, that Cody is a “super nice dude and super f***ing talented. I hate for anyone to get stuck in their own name and their own brand of what they built. I should be less of a judgmental person because of how I’ve been judged, but sometimes even I can think of what you would expect Cody Simpson to be, and he’s not what you expect him to be.”
