Aly Michalka Lands Role in Chevy Chase Pilot

Aly Michalka has landed a new role. Aly is set to star with Maulik Pancholy in Chevy Chase’s new pilot on ABC.

The pilot, which will also star Chevy,”centers on a baby boomer couple (Chase, Beverly D’Angelo) who are fun, relevant and living a selfish retirement when their world is turned upside down and they are suddenly left to raise their grandchildren.”

Aly will play Molly, the couple’s daughter, while Maulik will play her boyfriend. The pilot will be shot in the next couple of weeks and then screened for the network. If all goes well, it will be picked up for a premiere this Fall.

If it gets picked up I wonder how this will affect Aly’s role on iZombie.
