Watch A New Clip From The Vampire Diaries’ “The Downward Spiral”

A brand new sneak peek from the all new episode of The Vampire Diaries has been released. This new episode is titled “The Downward Spiral” and will mark Ian Somerhalder’s directorial debut.

In this new clip, Damon (Somerhalder) sets out on a journey to find out information about his mother. This new episode will air on The CW this Thursday, March 12.

I literally forgot that Ian was going to be directing this episode!
