Zayn Malik Signs with Syco for Solo Career

Zayn Malik is prepping to launch is solo career! After abruptly quitting One Direction earlier this week, the singer has apparently now signed a new solo deal with Simon Cowell and Simon’s label Syco.

According to The Sun, “Simon was very understanding about him leaving the band but quickly made it clear he would stay a Syco artist for his future projects.”

Zayn’s alleged solo music is tentatively set for a 2016 release. One Direction is also planning to record their fifth album later this year and with Zayn under Syco (which is One Direction’s label) Simon can control when Zayn releases so it doesn’t conflict with any 1D releases.
