Watch The US Trailer For When Marnie Was There, Featuring The Voice Of Hailee Steinfeld

The first US trailer for Hailee Steinfeld’s new animated film When Marnie Was There has been released. Hailee was announced as part of the cast that would be providing the English voices for the Japanese flick earlier this year.

In the film, “A young girl is sent to the country for health reasons, where she meets an unlikely friend in the form of Marnie, a young girl with flowing blonde hair. As the friendship unravels it is possible that Marnie has closer ties to the protagonist than we might expect.”

Hailee’s new film is expected to open in theaters on May 22.
