Kat McNamara Cast as Clary Fray in Shadohunters

ABC Family has found their Clary Fray. Girl vs. Monster star Kat McNamara will be taken on the role of Clary in ABC Family’s new show, Shadowhunters.

Based on the book series by Cassandra Clare, The Mortal Instruments, Kat joins already announced cast members Dominic Sherwood (Jace), Alberto Rosende (Simon) and Emeraude Toubia (Isabelle Lightwood).

Production on the new show will begin in Canada later this year. It will premiere on the network in the Winter of 2016. What do you think of the casting? Are you excited for the new show?
