The CW Picks Up The Flash/Arrow Spin-off “Legends of Tomorrow”

The CW announced today, May 7, that they have officially picked up Legends of Tomorrow. The show is a spin-off of the CW’s hit shows, Arrow and The Flash.

The show’s official synopsis reads, “When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?”

It will star Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz, Ciarra Renee, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller. We should know more about when the show will premiere later this month!
