Taylor Swift Twitter Fight with Nicki Minaj

Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj had a fairly heated exchange over Twitter today, July 21. After the MTV Video Music Awards nominations were announced Nicki took to her Twitter to express her displeasure over her songs “Anaconda” and “Feeling Myself” being excluded from the “Video of the Year” category.

Taylor took personal offense to Nicki’s displeasure tweeting at the singer “@NickiMinaj I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..”

Nicki responded, “Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn’t say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13”. Nicki also followed up that her earlier tweets were not trying to shade anyone.

Taylor then replied saying that if she won Nicki could come on stage with her to accept the award. It also appears Taylor no longer follows Nicki on Twitter.
