Zayn Malik Signs Solo Recording Deal with RCA Records

Zayn Malik has confirmed his new solo career! The singer took to his Twitter today, July 29 with a picture of him signing his new solo recording contract with RCA Records.

Zayn followed the picture with this tweet, “I guess I never explained why I left , it was for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who i really am! #realmusic #RCA !!” Yesterday, it was announced that Zayn had signed with a new management team, Turn First Artists, who also work with Iggy Azalea.

Guess the stress Zayn was dealing with while with One Direction had to do with the fact he wasn’t making “real” music, nor music that really showed who he was as an artist. It will be interesting to see what music he releases during his solo career.
