Check Out The First Cast Photo From Star Wars: Rogue One

The first cast photo from Star Wars: Rogue One has been released. This new film marks the first standalone move in Star Wars’ spinoff series and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, and Forest Whitaker.

Not much is known about the new movie, but producer Kathleen Kennedy stated ““‘Rogue One’ takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope and will be a departure from the saga films but have elements that are familiar to the Star Wars universe. It goes into new territory, exploring the galactic struggle from a ground-war perspective while maintaining that essential Star Wars feel that fans have come to know. ”

Rogue One will open in theaters on December 16, 2016.
