Official Synopsis for the First Episode of Supergirl Released

The official synopsis for the first episode of Supergirl has been released. Entitled, “Pilot”, the episode is slated to air on October 26.

In the episode, “After 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be,”.

The new show stars Melissa Benoist (Kara Danvers/Supergirl), Calista Flockhart (Cat Grant), Chyler Leigh (Alex Danvers), Mehcad Brooks (James Olsen), David Harewood (Hank Henshaw)and Jeremy Jordan (Winslow “Winn” Schott).
