Green Lantern Coming to the Fourth Season of Arrow?!

New concept art for the fourth season of Arrow has been released. In the art, we get a post card look at Coast City.

Oliver (Stephen Amell) is set to visit Coast City in the flashbacks this coming season. However, that is not the most interesting tidbit to be taken from this promo piece. When reading the caption, the first two lines seem to stand out among the rest.

For those who don’t know, “In brigtest day, In blackest night”, is a part of the Green Lantern Corps oath. The full oath reads, “In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil’s might, Beware my power–Green Lantern’s light!”

Now one could assume that with introduction of Coast City and the caption featured in the art, the creative team at Arrow is dropping a hint that we may be seeing the Green Lantern in the upcoming season. If we are indeed going to meet the Green Lantern, my guess is it will be Hal Jordan, as he is from Coast City.

As of right now this is pure speculation. The creative team could just be pulling our leg, but if anything else is released we will let you know.
