The promo for the season premiere of The Vampire Diaries has been released. The title for the first episode of the seventh season is “Day One of Twenty-Two Thousand” and it will air on The CW on October 8.

In the episode, the gang is still dealing with the loss of Elena and Stefan and Caroline begin to test out their new relationship. It is seriously going to take sometime before I can accept that Elena is no longer there.
