Fifth Harmony Covers Latina Magazine
Fifth Harmony is on the cover of the November issue of Latina magazine. The young ladies are on the cover to promote their single “I’m In Love with a Monster”. Highlights can be found below.
Ally Brooke on fan dedication: “A fan at a show this past March gave $100 for my mom’s surgery. So I tweeted that I needed to find her, and that inspired the whole fandom to donate money for my mom by starting a GoFundMe that raised $20,000 for her surgery. It was unbelievable.”
Lauren Jauregui on her grandmother: “She taught my mother and me to be assertive and independent. We’re very strong, independent, goal-orientated women. I wasn’t born into a family that told me that I wasn’t capable of what my brother was capable of. I can do anything.” The rest of the conversation goes something like this”.
Normani Faith on being a feminist: “I consider myself a feminist. In society today, people devalue women. They try to pit us against one another—like, a man can walk out without a shirt, but a woman can’t. I’m part of the feminist movement, but I also feel that at times women aren’t supporting one another. Yes, we stand for equality and want to feel equal just as men are, but women need to figure out our relationships and support one another.”
