James Maslow to Star in the Touring Production of Sherlock Holmes

James Maslow has landed a new role. James will play Dr. Watson in the play, Sherlock Holmes alongside David Arquette.

James and David will be taking the new play on tour this coming Fall. The cast is currently in rehearsals for the show, which will begin at the Ricardo Montalban Theater in L.A. on Oct. 15.

Originally the role of Dr. Watson was being occupied by The Vampire Diaries alum, Michael Trevino, but after he exited the role, the producers offered it to James. The show will be visiting a number of cities on its tour including Toronto and Washington, D.C.
