Zendaya Covers November Issue of Modeliste & Calls Out Photoshopped Images

Zendaya is on the cover of Modeliste Magazine. Zendaya is on the cover of the magazine’s upcoming November issue.

The magazine released some of the photos from the shoot in honor of the issue’s release yesterday, October 20, but Zendaya had something to say about the photos.

Turns out the magazine photoshopped some of the images and Zendaya was not a fan. Zendaya took to her Instragram to share a side by side image of the photoshopped image and the real image that was taken.

In the caption Zendaya wrote, “Had a new shoot come out today and was shocked when I found my 19 year old hips and torso quite manipulated. These are the things that make women self conscious, that create the unrealistic ideals of beauty that we have. Anyone who knows who I am knows I stand for honest and pure self love. So I took it upon myself to release the real pic (right side) and I love it😍😘”

The magazine promptly removed the retouched image and released the original, untouched, image. Zendaya proceeded to thank the magazine for the fix saying, ” Thank you @modelistemagazine for pulling down the images and fixing this retouch issue.”

Good on Zendaya for calling out the photoshop. I think she looks great in the original photos. She looks like a healthy, confident and happy 19 year old girl!
