Maisie Williams Returning to Doctor Who, but NOT as New Companion

Maisie Williams is not quite done on Doctor Who. The Game of Thrones star will be appearing in this season’s 10th episode, “Face The Raven,”, which will be the last episode for Jenna Coleman’s character, Clara.

However, just because Maisie is appearing in this episode does not mean she is the next companion. Creator Steven Moffat wants to make it clear that Maisie will not be replacing Jenna Coleman as the new companion. Mr. Moffat put a stop to this rumor when he appeared at MCM Comic Con in London this past weekend.

I really enjoyed Maisie’s appearance on the show these past two weeks. I am glad they decided to work her character into the story again this season. Are you excited to see Maisie return later this season?
