Taylor Swift Donates 25,000 Books to NYC School System

Taylor Swift has teamed with Scholastic to help the students of the New York City school system. The singer has teamed with Scholastic to donate 25,000 books to the system.

This is not the first time Taylor has teamed with Scholastic. Last year, she teamed with them and released a 30 minute video promoting the importance of reading. You can watch the video here.

This year, through Scholastic’s “Open a World of Possible” initiative, Scholastic will give 25 schools in NYC 1,000 books donated by the popstar. Through the initiative, Scholastic hopes to encourage more young kids to read.
