Young & Hungry “Young & Christmas” Advance Preview

Tonight, November 24, ABC Family will air its special holiday themed Young & Hungry episode. Entitled, “Young & Christmas” Gabi sets out to accomplish a Christmas plan that will reunite Yolanda with her estranged sister, Jolanda, played by Jackee Harry. Fans of Young & Hungry are in for a holiday treat with this episode.

The casting of Harry as Jolanda is on point. She and Kym Whitley work amazingly together. Their chemistry is fantastic and you will leave the episode wishing there were more scenes with the two of them together. Hopefully, the character returns next season. Another shining moment in the episode is Aimee Carrero. Her character, Sophia has multiple moments in the episode that will have you laughing and feeling a little envious.

The only negatives surrounding this episode were that ABC Family opted to air it now, rather than in December and Also, “Young & Christmas” is a standalone episode. If you are expecting storylines from the show’s Fall finale to pop up, they don’t.
