Justin Bieber is the Next Star to Call Out 5 Seconds of Summer on Rolling Stone Interview
It looks like Rowan Blanchard wasn’t the only star to take offense at 5 Seconds of Summer’s Rolling Stone interview. Justin Bieber responded to the boys’ interview via a series of tweets yesterday, December 26.
In the interview, 5 Seconds of Summer talked about attending Justin’s American Music Awards after party. The excerpt from the interview reads, “After the show, Clifford and Hemmings hit their friend Nick Jonas’ party, then crashed one thrown by Justin Bieber at their favorite bar, the Nice Guy.
They didn’t talk to Bieber – “‘I think he hates us,'” says Clifford – but they had a good time. “It was fucking crazy, people standing on tables and shit,” he continues. “‘I probably shouldn’t say this, but he had his own album on loop for, like, two or three hours.'”
After hearing this Justin took to his Twitter to set things straight. He responded to Michael Clifford saying, “sorry guys. Don’t hate you. Don’t even know u. And are u sure u came to our party because my album wasn’t on loop? Strange.” He also told the Australian singer, “wish u the best. Don’t use my name for headlines. U are already on the cover. U don’t need it. Just be honest. Big hugs bud.”
After releasing the tweets, Justin quickly deleted them, but not before Michael had a enough time to respond saying, “done nothing but praise your album, no idea what that’s even in the article. big fan since the start man, take care.”
I don’t think the boys ever thought the interview would explode the way it has. I am going to guess these guys are going to be very reserved in interviews from now on.
