Felicity’s Fate Determined in New Arrow Set Photos

It seems the cat may be out of the bag on the outcome of what happens to Felicity when Arrow returns later this month. As we know, the mid-season finale ended with Felicity being shot leaving fans wondering…does she live or does she die.

Well according to set photos taken last night, January 7 in Vancouver the character is definitely alive, but as many assumed, Felicity is now in a wheelchair. Emily Bett Rickards was seen filming scenes for episode 4×14 “Code of Silenece”, outside the Vogue Theater in a wheelchair.

Her costar, Katie Cassidy was also seen filming scenes for the episode last night from the rooftop of the theater. Stephen Amell, Willa Holland, Charlotte Ross and more were also seen on set last night. You can see all the photos from last night’s shoot on our Tumblr.

I’m not going to lie, I am not all that happy with the direction they are taking Felicity. They seem to be really trying to make her Oracle instead of creating a unique identity for her. Sure the way she ended up in the wheelchair is different than how Barbara Gordon did, but the outcome is still the same.

My hope is that I am completely wrong, she won’t be in the wheelchair for long, and that they DO NOT give her the codename Oracle. I have so many other feelings related to this subject and to the show’s storylines in general, but I have already ranted for far too long.

Arrow returns to the CW with new episodes on January 20.
