OUAT Bosses Reunite with Elizabeth Lail and Elizabeth Mitchell for Dead of Summer

Once Upon a Time bosses, Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis will be reuniting with two of their Once Upon a Time guest stars for their new show, Dead of Summer. Elizabeth Lail (Anna on OUAT) and Elizabeth Mitchell (Ingrid on OUAT) will be joining the new Freeform series.

Mitchell will star as “Deb, the new owner of Camp Clearwater. Once a camper herself, Deb has her heart set on bringing back the magic of the summer camp she loved. She exudes authority while simultaneously presenting a warm and welcoming vibe. Behind closed doors however, Deb seems to value her control over the camp for a much darker reason.”

Lail will star as “Amy, a clever but nervous camp counselor who is new to Camp Clearwater. Amy is not unfamiliar with being the new girl in social situations and the pitfalls that come with it, so she tries hard to fit in with the already bonded counselors. As the others reminisce about their past summers at camp, Amy is the first to discover clues that something disturbing is going on at Camp Clearwater.”

The two stars join already announced cast members Zelda Williams, Mark Indelicato, Alberto Frezza, Eli Goree, Ronen Rubinstein and Paulina Singer. Production on the pilot will begin this coming March.

I really enjoyed Lail on OUAT and her take on Anna, so I am glad they finally found a show for her to star in! Can’t wait to see her in the role.
