Zac Efron Begins Filming On Baywatch And New Details On His Character Are Revealed

Zac Efron hit the set of Baywatch for the very first time today, February 22, in Boca Raton. The young star was joined by Dwayne Johnson for the first day of shooting on the film adaptation of the hit TV show.

We also learned that Zac will be playing the role of Matt Brody, originated by David Charvet in the show. In the TV show, Matt was one of the lifeguards who was romantically involved with C.J. Parker for a few episodes before being falsely accused of sexual harassment by Neely Capshaw.
