Stitchers Gets An Upgrade With Season Two Premiere “2.0”
The season premiere of Stitchers, aptly titled “2.0”, is already a better version than its season one counterpart. Airing tonight, March 22, on Freeform, Stitchers has finally managed to upgrade itself to a more compelling story than any episode in season one.
After the events of the season finale, the audience find Kirsten literally “feeling” the effects of her recent stitch into Cameron. The once stoic Kirsten is now filled to the brim with emotions causing her to not only have difficulty managing them, but it also begins to hinder her once simple process of stitching.
As the episode goes on, the audience learns that Kirsten isn’t the only one adjusting to a new way of life. Cameron’s brush with death has sparked a new found freedom that has him taking quite a bit of risks. Linus starts to re-evaluate his current living situation when he thinks that people believe him to be immature for living with his parents. While Cami and a nicely recovering Fischer, seem to be the only ones content with their lives post season one.
As the episode concludes the tension between the team is on the rise and Kirsten may or may not be keeping some details about her stitch into Cameron close to her chest. However, it’s the last few minutes that are the most intriguing and really setup the overall arc of the season, so be sure to tune in.
As someone who had a hard time getting through the first season, the season two premiere has finally allowed Stitchers to find its footing. With new emotions and everyone finding their own 2.0 version, this upcoming season will certainly be a quite the ride for fans.
Just for fun, here our some of our fav lines from the premiere:
