Kat Graham To Leave The Vampire Diaries After Season Eight

It looks as though Kat Graham is following in Nina Dobrev’s footsteps and saying goodbye to Mystic Falls. The young actress confirmed that season eight will be her final season of The Vampire Diaries.

According to US Weekly Kat stated, “Season 8 will be my last season. I just hope that whatever I do after, the crew can come with me. If the crew can come with me, then we’ll be good. The crew is going to be the hardest thing to let go, because we are a family.”

Kat has played the role of witch, Bonnie Bennett. since the show began in 2009 and now it would seem that she is ready to branch out and try new things. This upcoming season, which will be her last, will begin production in Atlanta this summer and will hopefully leave Bonnie fans in a good place at the season ends.

So sad to see Kat leave the show, but they can’t play these characters forever.
