The Angry Birds Movie Producer, John Cohen Praises Demi Lovato’s Rendition of “I Will Survive”

Producer John Cohen has nothing but praise for Demi Lovato’s new rendition of the hit classic “I Will Survive”. Originally sung by Gloria Gaynor, Demi covered the song for John Cohen’s new movie, The Angry Bird.

In a statement released today, April 14, Cohen revealed, “Demi Lovato’s brand-new rendition of the classic ‘I Will Survive’ is so fantastic. She’s managed to reinvent the song while also honoring and paying tribute to the original.”

The song will appear in the movie and the movie’s soundtrack, out May 6. The Angry Birds Movie will hit theaters on May 29! I cannot wait to hear her full rendition of the song!
